 Posted Saturday, April 25, 2009

After months of planning, the "Casa Home Run", a 5k run/walk, went off this morning without a hitch.

The race was held in the West Creek office park in the eastern end of Goochland County, Virginia.  Well over 100 racers took part in this the first running of the "Casa Home Run".

LUKE FLEISCHMAN, formerly of Goochland, was the overall winner, completing the 3.1 mile course in 18 minutes and 6 seconds.  First place in the female category was KELLY BROWNING with a time of 24:51.

For other race photos, see the blog entries to the left.  You may also order race photographs and support CASA at the same time because a portion of the proceeds from your purchase will benefit Goochland CASA.  Click "View/Order" to the left to see more race photographs or to order photographs from the race.
